Torchlight

I am really enjoying playing through the game Torchlight. It's basically an updated version of the game Fate. I wanted to make my version of the rogue class: one that doesn't have to hide in the shadows and carries a big ol' gun. Again, I like drawing dudes with hoods. No idea why. Also might do sketches of some characters I made.

Tyrano-house

This was done as a suggestion for housing ideas for an online game. My wife and I discussed this and we both pretty much want this house. Other amenities include indoor waterfall, wild rapids tubing river, and rooftop garden.

Red Dead

This was drawn around the time Red Dead Revolver came out for PS2. I am pretty excited that Rockstar San Diego is making a follow-up to that. It didn't have the most original story (although compared to Gun and Call of Juarez, it was Shakespeare.) but it stayed within classic archetypes- the heroes parents get killed early, Red is left.. for dead.. and then goes after his killers. It played really well and in my humble opinion is still the best western game. ever. Evarr!! Update:Red Dead Redemption is now the greatest western game ever.

old model concepts

old story boards

Old boards for a BYU storyboard class. Obviously there are some problems with pacing and such but if you can follow the story then I feel like I've succeeded somewhat.

These were supposed to be Christmas gift supplements for the in-laws but they got pushed back a bit. These are just two of the nieces and I still have two more kids to go.

PS. I was reminded about the video game "toy commander" for the sega dreamcast the other day. Anyone remember that? It was the coolest.

Thunder!.. Thunder!.. Thunder!..

ThunderCats! HOOOOOOOooooohhk.. This was drawn on a paper towel out of sheer boredom. I was thinking that the world is totally missing out on a Thundercats video game. I think, if done right, it would be pretty sweet. Also, the CGI movie is in the works (Warner just dropped digital domain from the project). That should be interesting to see. What about a Johnny Quest video game? or an updated masters of the universe game? Eh?
